Dear Sir,
I am a young Tibetan living currently in France & At the moment I am working in France Telecom of Orange, I am a person who once had a dream to serve our government in exile but my determination and my MCom degree fell short in front of its very rigid prerequisites. I sat twice for those government entrance tests but without any success and I never felt any sort of hostility towards the government like some. My failure instead earned respect for the civil servants as I realized only the best candidates could make it there.
But now to my great surprise and to that of many others, our Tibetan Community’s President Thupten Gyatso la, against whom I do not have anything in particular seems to have been appointed the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and I couldn’t remain silent. I am usually not the type to write letters to our offices in Dharamsala but here, as a Tibetan I am duty bound to bring it to the attention of the people who made the appointment that he is not even qualified for the post of a simple civil servant let alone the post of the Representative of His Holiness. In fact you have detailed Thupten Gyatso la Representative of His Holiness office of Tibet Belgium/Benelux/France as you know well, the Brussels office of Tibet is one of most important office of Tibet in Europe, because Brussels, Strasburg & Luxemburg are EU parliament & main HQ of Europe, We have to win support from European Union front of China. So please think for this decision.
Thupten Gyatso la has legal problems with the French government among many others. He is such a very bad influence with Tibetans & French people too. So I would urge the concerned authorities to justify this decision and make it public as our government should be accountable towards its people like any other governments.
Lastly, I hope the above points will be taken into consideration to remedy this mistake before it is too late. Also I hopeful our “Sungma Marnag” will help
With kind regards,
Yours sincerely,
Tenzin Lhundup
