| In an incident that shocked the world, a teenage Tibetan nun, Kelsang Namtso, was killed when Chinese border police opened fire on a group of pilgrims as they fled Tibet over the infamous Nangpa Pass. The shooting was witnessed by many international mountain climbers, some of whom videotaped or photographed the events and also helped rescue survivors and sent the story out to the world. Using the original climber footage, reenactments and interviews with witnesses and survivors, Tibet: Murder in the Snow tells of young Tibetans who risk their lives each year to illegally cross the rugged Himalaya Mountains in an attempt to see their spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, or attend school in India. It is a dangerous journey. In September 2006, more than 70 young people travelled for three nights in the back of a truck as it drove south towards the Himalayas. Then the refugees walked for 10 more nights, with inadequate clothing and limited food and water, to the base of the infamous 6000-metre Nangpa Pass, an ancient trade route to Nepal. Among those who paid their hard-earned savings to illegal mountain-guides, were teenage farm girls Dolma Palki, 16, and her best friend Kelsang Namtso, a 17 year-old nun. Both wanted to meet to meet the Dalai Lama and to study without political interference. Also attempting to cross the mountains were 14-year-old boy Jamyang Samten and Lobsang Choeden, 29, a farmer. |

video re-attached, thanks for the heads up.
The origianl must have been removed, anyway here is the full un edited video again.
Seeing the pictures of the torture by the guards, it is quite impressive what the chinese have done to their young males. When you look at the expression on the faces of the army boys, it is devoid of any HUMAN expression; it is a robotic army.
Without that mass of humanoids, the little mr hu would feel even smaller than he is. It reminds you of SADDAM HUSSEIN, when he crawled out of his hole. But the question is; WHO WILL STOP HIM? There is no oil in china, and the clique is what makes the west so rich by forcing their export on all of us.
That brutality shown on the other clip - not removed - is definitely crimes against humanity. IN THE USA, when such scene is shown, a policeman beating one person - one only - the whole of the country and THE WORLD is appalled. But we just go to the next news when it comes to scenes from china. I guess we are at the stage of thinking THIS is china! If only it was NOT AGAINST THE TIBETANS, merely a few millions left. Would it be the chinese pop, well, what is 200 dead in a mine, or 45 in a mudslode, compared to 1.4 billion?
That's one kind of perspective on human life. 29 dead in a mine in the USA was a disaster; one child missing in Florida or in Portugal, and the whole world is on the search; one man kidnapped in Iran and every day it's in the news.
SO THE QUESTION IS: AREN'T TIBETANS HUMAN BEINGS LIKE ALL OF THOSE MENTIONED ABOVE? Why are the news only one line passing at the bottom of the screen, once or twice, before it is removed by the 'influence' among us?
Turning the wheel of Dharma, but not too fast; WE might find OURSELVES in the shoes of the oppressed! Buddha forbids!
Where is the clip? Has it been destroyed by the SPIES among us???
